During an appearance on the "I AM ATHLETE" podcast, hosted by former Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall, the 39-year-old was asked about his future and whether he would be leaving the Green Bay Packers. In response, Rodgers said, "Stay tuned...I don't think it will be long. There's a deadline for all of this."

The experienced player was also questioned about his discussion with Jets owner Woody Johnson, after being granted permission by the Packers to hold talks with the New York team. Rodgers played it close to the vest and simply replied, "Meeting significant figures in the sport is always intriguing - that's all I'll say."

If Rodgers were to leave the Packers, it would mark the end of his 18-year stint with the Wisconsin-based team. Throughout his tenure in Green Bay, Rodgers has experienced remarkable individual success and led the team to victory in one Super Bowl. Despite the team frequently falling short of expectations, he currently holds the franchise record for most passing touchdowns and is second in passing yards.

Despite reports suggesting that Rodgers may be on his way out, Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy has not closed the door on the possibility of him staying with the team. "He's obviously a tremendous player - a four-time MVP. But it's about finding common ground between what he wants and what we want, and hopefully, we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement," Murphy stated on the NFL website.
